Mr. Allan is a technology transfer and information specialist with extensive, multidisciplinary experience.

He has extensive experience in tech transfer and focuses his attention on competitive assessment of technologies, feasibility evaluations and on the development of effective technology marketing programs.

Mike has spearheaded numerous engagements in physical and life sciences areas.

As the former Manager of Eveready Battery Company’s Technical Information Center, Mr. Allan directed and performed a wide range of business analysis research, proprietary database searching, and competitive analyses in various technical, product, and patent assignments. At Competitive Technologies, Inc., he was Director of Information Resources.

Mr. Allan is a member of the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals, the National Association of Patent Practitioners, the Patent Information Users' Group, and the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM).

He holds a BS in Chemistry and an MS in Information Sciences from the University of Buffalo.
